As Site Manager (f/d/m) you will be responsible for the following tasks and activities:

• Site manager in the Project during construction and commissioning and start up generally
• Lead all the Construction and Engineering work on site in India
• To Manage the John Cockerill Site team, (multinational team)
• Manage the coordination of all JC subcontractor.
• Interface between customer and JC team, Indian and  European 
• Manage the overall site schedule 
• Ensure an promote the safety at site
• Report to the project team the weekly progress 
• Report all anomaly faced at site.
• Follow up and report the erection and commissioning progress 
• Manage the final part of project with Start up until hand over
• Project scedule – around 17 months

• At least 5 years experience as Site Manager in the steel industry such as CGL
• Technical background, experience in steel industry
• Management skills, knowledge of steel industry procedures
• Ready to work in a multinational team in India
• International Project surrounding
• Fluent English level written and oral
• Knowledge of French will be considered as added value
• Good knowledge of MS-Office
• Excellent team spirit
• Electrical habilitation BA4
• VCA training or equivalent  

• Participation in an international project environment
• Interesting project in steel industry - India
